If you are spending your vacation in Sorrento Peninsula, and you are also a entusiast photographer, you have to read this article, where we make a list of our favourite photographic spot in this beautifull place!
When you arrive in the Sorrento Peninsula, starting from Naples, you have to pass to “Scutolo”, a winding and characteristic road with a breathtaking view on the Sorrento peninsula, Punta Campanella, and Capri.
Along this road there are a lot of photographic spot, that are perfect for a panoramic shot.
If you are coming to Sorrento with our transfer service (form all major airports, ports or railway stations in Italy) our drivers will stop here for take some photographs, and if you want they will tell you about the features of the scenery.
A fantastic belvedere in St.Agnello, that permit you to photograph all the St. Agnello coasts, and to take a drink in the characteristic bar, in a wonderfull scenario.
A square in Sorrento, with a beautifull panorama on the Gulf of Naples. This is a square in the center of Sorrento, with a lot of threes, perfect if you want to stay cool on a bench with a beautifull sight!
This is one of my favourite photographic spot in all the Sorrento Peninsula!
Here is where the Queen Giovanna lived, ant here you can see both a beautifull panorama, and the rest of the ancient Villa Di Pollio Felice.
The panorama is very unforgettable, especially if you arrive here in the sunset ( the golden hour).
In St. Agata, there is a Monastery, with a beautifull garden, that offer to the tourist a breathtaking view on both the Naples and the Salerno gulfs.
Is for this reason that St.Agata is called “St. Agata on the two gulfs”.
Punta Campanella is the most extreme tip of the Sorrento peninsula, and is a natural reserve.
Here you can see the ancient Saracine Tower, the panorama of Capri, Naples, and the Sorrento Coasts, the Jeranto Bay, and if you are lucky, you can also photograph some cetaceans, like dolphins or sperm whales.
Here in Punta Campanella there is a trekking path, that permit you to go to the St. Costanzo mount (where there is the St. Costanzo Sanctuary).
Here you can shot a beautifull panoramic photo!
Capri is one of the most picturesque isle in Italy, if you are planning to do a tour in Capri, I recommend to shot here a lot of Photos!
The amalfi coast is a very beautifull subject for your photos, if you are planning a tour here, you can shot photos in Positano, Amalfi, Furore, or Atrani (the smaller village in Italy!).
If you want, you can also plan a boat tour to Amalfi coast, so you can shot your photos to a new point of view.
All these photographic spots (except Punta Campanella, and the Bath of Queen Giovanna, that are situated at the end of a trekking excursion) are reachable by car or public transports.
