Italy’s Liberation Day (Festa della Liberazione), also known as the Anniversary of the Liberation (Anniversario della liberazione d’Italia), Anniversary of the Resistance (anniversario della Resistenza), or simply April 25 is a national Italian holiday commemorating the end of the second world war and the end of Nazi occupation of the country.
Liberation Day (Festa della Liberazione) remembers Italians who fought against the Nazis and Mussolini’s troops during World War II.
Today as never before, any squares will be desolate, there won’t to be any manifestations, nothing, we will celebrate this day at home. In the year of the pandemic, the date of 25th April becomes the feast of Italy hard tried by the virus, but not bent.
Italy will rise again as it has always done, and we will be there with you, to continue to travel together!
