- Piazza del Campo: Also known as ‘il Campo’, the Piazza del Campo is a sloping piazza that has been the heart and soul of the social and civic life of Siena since the middle of the 12th century.
- Torre del Mangia: The Torre del Mangia is an imposing tower located along the Piazza del Campo in Siena. This elegant and imposing tower stands 102 meters tall and is a popular tourist attraction in Siena. Designed by Muccio and Francesco di Rinaldo, the tower was built between 1325 and 1348 and is named after Giovanni di Balduccio, nicknamed Mangiaguadagni, who was the tower’s first bell ringer.
- Palazzo Pubblico: The Palazzo Publico, as the name suggests is a palace in Siena that was built to be the offices of the republican government (the Podesta and the Council of Nine). It was built in 1297 and is located along the Piazza del Campo.
- Museo Civico: The Museo Civico or Civic Museum is Siena’s city museum and is located on the first floor of the Palazzo Publico or city hall.
- Museo dell’Opera Metropolitana: The Museo dell’Opera Metropolitana is part of the Cathedral complex in Siena, the Duomo Novo. It is one of the oldest private museums in Italy and was set up in 1869.
- Siena Cathedral: The Siena Cathedral was designed and constructed between 1215 and 1263 and is a popular tourist attraction in Siena. It i was designed by Nicola Pisano, a master in the Gothic style.
